1. INTRODUCTION
These terms and conditions govern the reservation of rooms at Stansted Lodge Elsenham. Stansted Lodge Elsenham is the trading name of PRO Business Assist LTD, located at 1 Mill Close, Elsenham, Bishop’s Stortford, Essex, CM22 6EG, United Kingdom, when booked through our digital channels (website, mobile site, or app). By making a reservation, you agree to these terms and conditions. You will be required to confirm your acceptance of these terms before finalizing your reservation.
2. RESERVATIONS
You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. A valid credit or debit card is required to secure your booking. Once you have completed the booking process, we will send you a confirmation email. A contract between you and Stansted Lodge Elsenham will be formed upon receipt of this email.
3. ROOM PRICES
The price you pay is the one quoted at the time of booking. Room prices are per room, per night and include VAT. Additional services, such as meals or extras, are not included unless specified. Any additional charges can be added during the booking process.
4. OCCUPANCY
Maximum room occupancy is specified during the booking process. Exceeding this limit is not allowed. Unregistered guests found staying will be asked to leave, and a £20 surcharge will be applied. Children under 16 are only allowed to stay if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Infants (under 2 years old) can share existing bedding for free. We may ask for valid ID to verify age.
5. ACCESSIBILITY
Stansted Lodge offers accessible rooms with a small step at the entrance. If you require a ground-floor room or have specific accessibility needs, please request this when booking, and we will accommodate based on availability.
6. SPECIAL REQUESTS
While we will do our best to meet special requests (e.g., room preferences), all rooms are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
7. MEALS
Meals are not included in the room price. Stansted Lodge Elsenham provides a shared kitchen equipped with a microwave, fridge, toaster, and kettle for guest use.
8. PAYMENT TERMS
Your credit/debit card details will be required to confirm the booking, but payment will not be processed until 2 days (48-hours) before your arrival (for Standard Rate bookings). If we are unable to process full payment 2 days (48-hours) prior to your arrival, your booking may be cancelled. We accept card and mobile payments only. The card's expiry date must be valid until after your stay. We do not have the facilities to process card payments or accept cash at the property.
9. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Stansted Lodge Elsenham operates a self-check-in and check-out system. Online check-in form and access information will be emailed to you within 48-hours of your arrival. Check-in begins at 16:00. Please notify us if you plan to arrive after 23:00. Check-out is required by 10:00. Late check-out may incur an additional charge.
10. LOST KEYS
Guests are asked to return their key in the box by the front door. Lost keys will incur a replacement fee of £15 per key.
11. LOST PROPERTY
If any personal belongings are left behind in the bedroom after your stay, please contact the us as soon as possible to arrange retrieval. All found items will be stored securely for a maximum of 30 days. After this period, unclaimed items will be disposed of or donated at the host’s discretion.
12. PARKING
Complimentary parking is available during your stay and is subject to availability. Short and long-stay parking are available for an additional cost. Parking packages must be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
13. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDUCT
Guests and their groups must adhere to the following guidelines:
- It is strictly against the law to smoke/vape in all our guest bedrooms. A penalty charge of £50 will be charged to card details provided at the time of booking for non-compliance. Designated smoking areas are located in the rear garden (smoking shed) or outside of the front door for your convenience.
- No pets allowed.
- Do not bring hazardous materials or dangerous equipment onto the premises.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 6:00. Guests are asked that they respect their neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum during these times.
- Tampering with fire alarms or emergency equipment is prohibited.
- Any damages, removal, or destruction of property will be charged to the guest who made the reservation.
- Stansted Lodge Elsenham reserves the right to cancel your booking and remove you from the premises if you breach these terms. This may result in forfeiture of all payments and restriction of future bookings.
- Unlawful or obscene use of our technology, or causing unreasonable disturbance to other guests, is prohibited. Violation may lead to cancellation of your booking and refusal of future reservations.
