The journey between Stansted Lodge Elsenham and Stansted Airport takes approximately 10-minutes drive.
Uber: is available however, currently they don't have many cars in the area. Please, check your Uber app for availability otherwise above taxis are reliable option.
LOCAL BUS
Bus service 7 & 7A to and from Stansted Airport coach station - the bus stop 'Station Road' is located approximately 5-minute walk from Stansted Lodge Elsenham.
Please note, this is not a frequent bus service and is not available late at night or early in the morning.
The first morning bus leaving for Stansted Airport is at around 6:30 Monday to Saturday. There are no buses on Sunday. The journey takes approximately 30-minutes.

TRAINS
This option is available for guests wanting to visit London or Cambridge or would like to go to the airport during the day.
This option is not suitable for early morning travel.
Elsenham train station is located withing walking distance of Stansted Lodge Elsenham guest house - 13 minute walk.
You can easily reach Cambridge in 30 minutes or Tottenham Hale or London Liverpool Street just under 60-minutes. There are various London unground options available from both stations.

There is no direct train to Stansted Airport however you can take a train towards London Liverpool Street from the Elsenham station and change to Stansted Express at Stansted Mountfitchet or Bishop's Stortford. This journey can take around 30 to 40 minutes. Please, google available options and timings as trains may not always run at the same time which may extend you journey significantly. The earliest train is around 5:30 and you should reach the airport around 6:15. Similar option is available for travel between airport and Stansted Lodge Elsenham.
When returning from London, please take a train towards Cambridge and exit at Elsenham Station. Please, bear in mind that last train from Liverpool Street towards Cambridge is around 11pm. Please, check times before you travel.
